Key City Furniture Company, Inc. was founded in 1927 by James E. Caudill and has remained in the same family since that time. The company was incorporated in 1946 and is currently run by the grandsons of the founder; F. D. Forester III, President and James Caudill Forester, Secretary-Treasurer. Today, the company has over 200 employees at its 4 facilities in Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro, NC. The company specifically builds each piece of furniture to fill a specific order. It produces over 400 furniture products and offers over 1,200 fabrics from which to choose.
